Anyone have any spoilers or predictions for the next book? I'll start.

Since the 3ed book I have been thinking Harry's Aunt is magical in someway. She just does not want anyone to know.

Nevil and Harry are somehow connected(they have the same bday).

In some form I think either Dumbeldor or Serius will appear to help out Harry.

I have always thought Petunia might be a squib. Also I think Harry and Voldemort will be the two characters (sp) who die :(

either harry OR voldemort will die because the prophecy says only one can live. i think petunia is a squib, i also think that neville and harry are going to "connect" in some way. i think hermonie and ron will get together.

Yeah I am gonna reread The Half Blood Prince again. I must be having a brain fart because I don't remember Ron and Hermonie getting together. I always reread the last one before a new one comes out anyway.

I'm trying to figure ut right now when to start rereading all the books. lol I'm a fast reader so normally a months or two prior would be enough time to get started but with Miss K I'm not sure how long it'll take me. lol Anyway, now on to the question.

I agree that Aunt Petunia possesses some kind of magic. She's just in denial about it.

Dumbledore comes back. It just that eventhough they did have a funeral, the way he died leaves too many questions unanswered. Maybe it was just a way to make Voldermort think that he died. (Or maybe I'm just still in denial that he died lol)

I do think he is dead. JK did say no one gone would be returning. But I still think he could appear in some other way.

In the back of my mind I keep wanting to think that Dumblebore was able to think of a spell that saves his life before he was cursed. But I have also always felt that Snape was just rotten to the core. I am still trying to figure out who got to that thing Harry and Dumbledore went after right before the school was attacked. I need to go back and look at the initials again. Part of me want to think that may be it was Harry's Father James before he was killed. I do not know though.

Ron and Hermione don't "officially" get together at the end of book 6...Ron is just comforting her...it does leave the reader "knowing" that that is what's coming in book 7, though.

JK never said that JUST 2 people would die, however. There could be more than 2 people. I personally think that at least one will be a Weasley.

I also believe I remember seeing that JK squashed the "Petunia is a squib or has magical power" rumor already. However, she does KNOW more about the magical world (most likely from Lily) than she lets on.

That's an interesting theory. I was thinking V would kill someone close to Harry and Harry would kill V. I still am not sure I think Snape is "bad". I think there is much more to Dumbeldor's death than we know.

Well remember there was something up with Dumbledore's picture after he had died, it wasn't like all the other pictures of the former headmasters. I don't remember exactly what it was, I have to go back and reread Half Blood Prince. So I think Dumbledore will have something to do with the last book.

Darn. I need to reread 6 - I read it while drugged up on Hydros after getting my wisdom teeth surgically removed, and I apparently remember only the big GLARING details.

Isn't the working theory about who replaced the locket, that it was Sirius' younger brother, perhaps? I dunno. I'm behind on my rumors!

In book 5 the prophecy was that a boy born in July would destroy the dark wizard. (Or something to that extent). It never said, Harry will destroy Voldemort. Both Harry and Neville were born in July, Voldemort just chose to curse Harry, instead of Neville. Rowling likes twists and turns. I don't want Harry to die, :tears but I think she wants to do something really unexpected. I'm so excited for the book to come out, but I'm dreading it too, I don't want it to end!!

Neville can't be the one to kill Voldemort. It has to be Harry. Dumbledore said so, and "if you can't trust Dumbledore, who can you trust?"

Maybe he "thinks" that is how it has to be.

Oooooh I never really even thought about Neville till now...
But it makes sense considering he is such a "side" character and Rowling LOVES twists.
