The following is a post from a wonderful friend of mind. She is also a Marine Mom. Please take a moment to read. My husband, Sherman will be with her son the crucible so remember him also in your prayers. Thanks and God Bless Our Boys!!! (and girls)

Okay guys here is what I want.
On Feb. 14 It would mean alot to me if everyone would stop what they are doing before the day starts and light a candle and say a prayer for Richard. It is the day he begins the Crucible. This is what they say is the making of a Marine. 54 hours no sleep, 2 meals and 45 miles hiking. These guys go through Hell for the safety of our Country. So take a second and pray that they all make it and progress to the next level. Sherman has been good to everyone in his life. So think of him on Valentines Day for at least 5 secs. You will feel good about yourself if you do..He has made some good friends while there so pray for them also. Thank you so much.

Thank you for all your kind thoughts !!!!

yea my SO hated it as well you only get a couple of hours of sleep and one meal a day . . . but he'll get throgh it!

It is mainly to get them all to work together and motivate one another . . . to kinda prepare them for real life situations.
