PITTSBURGH -- The ex-husband of an Allegheny County woman found dead Friday in Tennessee has been charged with homicide.
The body of Paula Lanz, 39, of Scott Township was recovered from her burned-out minivan in Nashville, Allegheny County police said.
Lanz had been shot twice in the head, but it's unclear whether that happened in Pennsylvania or Tennessee, police said.
Henry Lanz was arrested Friday night on an alleged violation of a protection-from-abuse order. A charge of homicide was added Monday.
Paula Lanz had been reported missing from her Rockhill Road home Jan. 29, along with her Kia Sedona minivan, police said.
Henry Lanz had been under a court order to stay away from his wife's home, where the woman lived with her children, ages 5 and 2. Both children were unharmed.

Public records obtained by WTAE Channel 4 Action News showed a history of protection-from-abuse cases involving the Lanzes.
Paula Lanz apparently had claimed that Henry Lanz had a drug problem, and neighbors said the man had been abusive in the past.
In April 2005, Paula Lanz filed a PFA against her husband, accusing him of stalking her and threatening to burn down their house. Last May, Henry Lanz pleaded guilty to violating the PFA.
In November 2005, Henry Lanz filed a PFA against Paula, saying she threatened to kill him. He later dropped the complaint.
