View Full Version : Chicken breasts? Teresa 02-08-2007, 03:49 PM When cooking fresh chicken breasts do you need to rinse them off before cooking them? They are all rinsed and are now happily stewing away in my crockpot :) They were pretty nasty to touch and hard as heck to "cube" :lol But my house smells pretty dang good right now! I am paranoid about cooking pork and chicken so mine always tends to be a little overcooked. Victoria 02-09-2007, 05:29 AM I used to but not anymore. I don't like touching raw meat with my own hands to I just use a fork to transfer the meat or whatever to the pan, dish, etc. I make sure it's cooked all the way... I do rinse meat that has bones in it, because fo the saw dust... I HATE handling raw meat with my hands! It just feels so icky to me. define 02-09-2007, 05:42 AM I do sometimes. It depends on what I'm making and how much juice is all over it.
