The only thing I've used mine for so far is roast. I set it on Low from 8-4, add 1/2 cup of water, add my veggies and meat. It sits there and cooks all day, so when 4pm comes around it is ssssooo good!

Scalloped Potatoes

Cut up about 8 potatoes...diced or sliced
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
shredded cheese
ham
milk
onion sliced and diced

just add in the crockpot as such, potatoes, onion, soup (chunck), ham, and cheese. Just layer it. Add milk and cook for about 8 hours on low. YUMMY!

I use my crock pot all the time! I Love it, I would never have surivived the first few weeks as a new mommy without one thats for sure!!

A few of my simple and easy favorites are:

Crock Pot CHicken
1 whole chicken
seasoning salt
mccormic grillers garlic and onion

Season chicken with the above seasonings. Put into pot and cook on low for about 6 hours for a tender falling off the bone meat. Serve with potatoes and gravy. You can use left over chicken and the broth for chicken noodle soup. Just add veggies, egg noodles, the left over chicken/broth and 1 can extra broth plus a handful of celery salt. Its a two for one deal!

Slow Steak:

Flour
Seasonings of your choice
round steaks

Mix seasonings into flour. Roll steaks into flour, put into pot and cook. DO NOT ADD WATER!! This will ruin the recipe. As the steak cooks it creates its own gravy. Its absolutely delecious, melts in your mouth.

I will post some more later when I have more time :)
