So I will be making one for Dustie to use with Brenna and thought I would offer up my service for anyone else who might want one. I would have to charge a minimal fee because of shipping and fabric cost...but won't be as much as they usually retail for...
Here is a sample of one I made myself...

I still put Katrina in my sling, it's nice when we are out because I dont' have to chase her down, and if she falls asleep it's not weighing on my arms. She's almost 3 yo.
I am thinking of charging between 20-25 dollars and I"ll pay shipping, for you lovely military sos gals :) I just need to know what kinds of fabric you would like, or if you would just want me to pick something cute/fun. Cori, I have instructions that I will print out as well as take photos of myself in it so you can see how best to use it ;)

Just PM me your info...I will start this week, taking some pics of fabrics I have on hand...Once they are gone I'll remove them..First come first served ;) But of course, if I can get more I will.
I also wanted to add Maya Wraps retail at about $50 each for those who wanted a price comparison. For those interested, the difference in the style of a pouch like hotslings or new native carriers...those are one continous circle of fabric which creates a pouch to cradle your little one, the Maya Wrap is adjustable, so you can put an size child (newborn to toddler) and adjust it accordingly. I have also used mine when Katrina was younger and wanted to walk constantly as a leash type thing, even to cover high chairs at restraunts and a changing pad when out in public.
I also want to add, that you use them at your own risk. They are made strong as I test each one I make with Katrina for strength and safety. I also suggest to refrain from cooking with your carrier in a front carry b/c of splatter and burns to your child (Common sense I know but I need to make sure it's said.)
All this will be included with each carrier that I send out.
I'm excited to make these, it will be a good way to spend sometime and keep me from lounging too much these last 2 mo of pregnancy :)
