So, what is everyone planning to do for Valentine's Day? Do you have something special in mind for your sweetie?

I'm working on a photo project for mine. He loves to take pictures with his digital camera when we go out on the weekends so he has a lot of us and his friends. About 99% of his pics are stored on his computer so I'm being sneaky. I go to his room every day after I go to the gym in the morning to shower since it's right on base. I've been saving a lot of his pics onto cd's to take to kodak to print off. I've framed some of them and am putting others in a photo album and also making some into a collage. I hope he likes it. I don't have a lot of money right now since I'm still looking for a job over here. Besides the photo project, I'm decorating his room, cooking dinner, baking either a cake or cupcakes and I bought a few things that he needed for his car. :)

AWWW!! im sure he will love that!!! I dont really have any plans... which is so sad because this is mine and Db's 1st valentine's Day together! he will actually be shipping from IL (boot camp) to TEXAS for a-school.... so i probably wont be able to talk to him or anything.... i know he really wants to do something special but its just not working out... i sent him some cards and little things that his dad could give him at graduation and he keeps talking about how he sent me this card... i should be getting it tomorrow and im kind of excited!!! so i'll be spending valentines day with my mom... (dad will also be out of town!!:P ) so mom and i are going to get MASSAGES!!!! im soo excited!! this will be my 1st but im sure it wont be my last!!! ;) so this year... Mom's my valentine..(shhhh just dont tell DB...:hehe )

Df will still be out so I put together a Valentine's Package of all kinds of stuff for him to eat and play with! I also made two Music CD's for him of a bunch of different songs and comedy acts.

Navyaowife2005 is having a small Valentines G2G at her house since our men will not be here. We're gonna pig out on junk food and just have a good time! :D

my mom said she might not have time to send me stuff :(, and john had said he wanted us to do vday still but i dont think i am going to do that!, its stupid! lol. my friends here and i are exchanging cards and such but im not taht pumped this year. my dad always sends me flowers but he cant because we cant get that kind of thing here.

Nothing this year, it falls on a Tuesday so it sucks. Dh has the day off, but I work, and when I get out he has to go to school, so there goes that. Its all good though, there's always next year.

Ok, this may sound cheesy and cheap - but when we flew home to my family in Oregon for Christmas, the airlines gave us 2 $20.00 dinner coupons to McCormick & Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, and we haven't used them yet so I'm going to take him out to dinner on Sunday. I did make arrangements for his step-mom to come over and watch Bruce so it can be just the two of us (we haven't been on a date in wayyy too long!!). And, my DH's favorite band is Lynyrd Skynyrd and they are coming to a casino near here so I got two tickets and will surprise him with those while we're at dinner.
I know it may sound really cheesy and cheap to use dinner coupons on Valentine's Day, but when you're short on cash, you got a babysitter(for free) so it can actually be a date (which are hard to come by any more), you do what you got to do, know what I mean? :)
I just wonder what he's going to get me...in the 3 years we've been together, I have never received flowers from him. Ever. Seriously. Maybe he'll finally pick up on all my hints, lol.

Nothing dh is deployed and I don't want to fight the crowds that night to take my boys out to dinner so we will just stay in. I haven't had a real Valentines Day in 4 years anyways so to me its just another day lol.

I just found out that we have to go to a briefing for the move to Germany...some romantic Valentine's Day that will be!

i bought df an ipod, new sunglasses, a sweatshirt and a tiny bottle of aftershave that cost me $20! he loved all of it. we'll probably just talk for awhile that night

I'm thinking of cooking 3 full meals for him. I don't know if I'll stick to that plan, but I'll do heart-shaped pancakes for sure. I might do all this on Sunday, so I won't have to wake up so early on Tuesday.
I might get him some books. He's been wanting some log cabin books and cookbooks. I'll have to think of another gift for him, maybe a new watch. I'll find out when I go shopping.
