Do you crave ice if you are PG??

I went through this last time too! :giggle

I craved ice all the time at first...every once in a while now. I crave Icee's all the time, though!

I craved ice when I was pg with Breanna but didn't with Johnny and so far haven't with this one.

I don't and never have craved ice. Ice drives me crazy!! (I have a really sensitive mouth, so ice just makes it hurt)

We just learned about this the other day in my lifespan nursing class! It's called pica and it means craving non-food items. Some people crave the specific ice from the inside walls of their freezer :shock :teehee

I think that sometimes it's a sign of iron-deficiency anemia too...but I'm sure you don't have that because you'd be getting checked for that anyways since you're preggers :D

I did and I was told a sign of low iron. The Dr did a blood test and when it was confirmed gave me iron pills to take.

I craved it with DD and I had low iron, once I got iron pills the craving went away!!

I craved it BAD with Wyatt and Cameron. My iron was always low.

Yup, I had it with both kids and also had low iron!

Funny I was low on iron pregnant with Jacob and a little low now with Brenna but I am not craving ice. Thats weird

I craved it bad with Cory. I would order a pop just to have the ice. I mentioned it my midwife and she had me tested for anemia. I ended up having to take a crap load of iron. It was NOT fun.

Well they tested my blood last night so I will know in a couple days! I have only had to take iron pills with My 3rd pregnancy!

My teeth are usually very sensitive to ice, but not now!

That's me :insomnia I craved certain types of ice and it was uncontrollable to the point where I sometimes scared myself :scared I started to feel anxiety if I couldn't eat any ice. It was actually kinda scary! I hated having cravings that were that bad. :no I could go through the big 5 lbs bags of ice in just 2 days or so. I think it may have even caused me some issues with my teeth. They are in really bad shape from eating so much ice. If I couldn't get the soft fluffy type of iced (Shaved or in icee form), I'd eat the huge blocky ice :nutts Anything to get my fix. :hairout
