I have a headache, they told me to just take plain tylneol, but that stuff doesnt help me a lick...What do you do?

i just ride them out. i don't even take tylenol.

sometimes headaches are a result of dehydration as well, so maybe drink some fluids.

Drink water, cold compress, dim lights, rosemary (aromatherapy!). When all else fails, ask the doctor for Rx.

Tylenol is all you can take as a pain reliever. NO motrin/ibprophen. If they are bad ask your Dr for a script. Otherwise try drinking fluids, resting, etc

I have the same problem and I've just been having to suffer through it :( I'm not sure of anything else you can take. If it's sinus related you can try sudafed and see if that helps any. Hope it gets better soon!

I would take Benydryl. It sounds wierd to take an antihistimine for a headache, but that's what they give people at the ER who come in for migranes. And it's ok to take if you're pregnant..

Try taking it with a Soda of some type. The caffiene might help. That is what my OB told me to do with my midrin

I suffered with the tylenol cause Im too scared to take anything else even the tylenol3 with codiene they gave me when I was preggo with Jer... I looked at them as if they had 3 heads when they said it was okay to take a narcotic but they are the dr. I think I may have taken half of 1.
Definitly stay hydrated. You said you thought you were dehydrated if you are that could be a reason for the massive headache. Hope you feel better soon.

I've been having headaches too and tylenol doesn't help me much either. The only thing that ever helps is Excedrin, so I just get to tough it out. I had one earlier today, so I took a shower and it seemed to help it. My headaches usually don't last long unless I'm stressed, but they sure do hurt like hell.

I think it was a mixture of things, i felt fine after a while...And I agree, I will live through everything for a perfect baby!
