So I had my appt on Thrusday and they did a pap smear...the doc told me (sorry if TMI) that my cervix is 'fireiry' and that before she even touched it it was already bleeding, and that my cervix is very sensitive *which I knew cause it's from the bad delivery from Eian*, so she told me to expect a little bleeding..well I had a little bit that day, but then nothing on Friday or Saturday, but today all day I've had bleeding, it started out just a little red spotting and then has gotten worse throughtout the day....now it's straight red and pink even when I pee it's pink...I'm a little achy but not crampy....Nate leaves tomorrow for a week and I'm nervous about the spotting should I go in to the ER just to make sure or would they just laugh at me??? What do you ladies think???
if it makes you worry, go in ;) you'll get a piece of mind!! good luck!!

The ER todl me when I called that if I'm not soaking a pad in an hour there's no point in coming in....and I had a ultrasound 3 days ago and it showed everything was good, the heartbeat was stong and everything, I'm worried but with what the ER told me I don't think they would do anything.

i would go. they will do an u/s to check the baby. at least they do here.
ETA i just noticed you were here. when i went in for mine. the dr told me its standard, you will get a pelvic to make sure your cervix is closed and an u/s

i have found what they say on the phone is completely different than what they do if you go in. i still say go in for piece of mind.

Yeah i heard different too.
"unless you soak 2 pads in a day- don't bother coming in"
That was wrong too. :shrug

Alright girls, even though DH thinks it's a waste of time, we are dropping Eian off with a friend and I'm going in...I want to be certain with what's going on. I'm not looking for them to DO anything to make it stop cause I know they can't, I'm just looking for a peace of mind in what's going on, ya know?!
Thanks, I'll keep you posted!!!
Im glad you are going. Peace of mind is always the best!

If you have a friable cervix, you can expect to have a LOT of bleeding throughout your pregnancy. I was never turned away when I needed the reassurance, but I occassionally had to wait a lot longer since I knew what my problem was.
