Are you allowed to bring your small childern back with you at an ob appt.? I figured they wouldn't be able to go back when you have to have an exam but what about all the other appts.

Zachary went with me just recently for my physical. Though I go to a civi provider who is a really nice lady. Not to mention she sent my hubby to the pharmacy so he had to stay with me. I don't know how the military doctors work. I would suggest calling and speaking with your doctor.

John went with me to my last appt and they did the internal exam and everything and will probably go with me to all of mine. I just put him in the stroller and go.

I won't be going to a military doctor, they don't have a military hospital in Millington. So we'll be going to a civ doctor and hospital. I'm gonna have to take Sydney to some appts cause I know DH won't be able to get off of work for all of them.

DD came with me to my first OB appointment, DH was also there so when they did the exam I asked them to leave, but the Dr didnt say they had to!

My girls usually go with me, never been a problem, I have a civi doctor. As long as they have a handler (aka hubby is there to wrangle them while I'm getting checked). They actually love going and hearing the baby and stuff, plus the doctor always gets a kick out of them.

Taniyah went to my first appt when I had to have my exam but DH was there to watch her. When I had my ultrasounds I took her to the Children's waiting room at the hospital. The rule with u/s there is a child under the age of 6 needs to have another adult there to be allowed. She does go to my midwife appts with me but she is so quite and she sits quietly on the chair waiting for me to be done. If she wasn't like that then I would probably take her to the drop in child care right next door.

I would call them and ask. Each dr. can be different so ya never know. When I was pg with Johnny I was allowed to have Breanna with me during any appt. and she was there when I gave birth as well (didn't plan that. It just worked out like that). With this little guy I'm only allowed having the kids with me during appts. that I'm not getting an exam and he has already said I'm not allowed having the kids in the room with me when I deliver. These were both civi. drs., too.

I would think that they could go with you. I always see children when I go. I'm taking Ava to my 6 week check up.
