I was just wondering if anyone has done or did the American Red Cross dental assisant program threw the military? I read a little bit about it in FL and I heard that the military dental clinic will let you do on the job training with them and pay for your test and certificate (I am not too worried about them paying it since I Read that FL doesn't have a test unless you plan on doing radilogy) But I just wanted some more information and if anyone has done it what you thought about it! Thanks

I went to school in San Diego for the D.A program. If I wanted to work on the base dental clinic do I need to go through Red Cross? I've been looking for a job since I've moved here.

THe red cross thing is just if you would rather be trained on the job to be a dental assis. rather than go to college for it and get credits. Since you have already been to school for it as long as you have all what FL requires you should be able to just see if they are hireing.
