Ok, I'm 4 weeks late on my peirod. I took a test last week and the first one was defective so I took the second test in the box and it was negative. But, my moms didnt show up positive till she was 3 months any thoughts on what I should do? If I am? Experiences? :freakout

I took about 3 tests, before i was late- they all came out with a faint line- but back then i thought it was just a negative. Hm finally the day i was sposed to start it came up with a big glowing positive.

So i can't help you out. But i know sometimes, the pee sticks don't work. I would have a blood test, or give it another week and try it again.

You will be fine if your pregnant. Everything happens for a reason.

go to the clinic for a blood test. That's your best bet. I didn't get a positive with my son(who's still in my belly) till I was 3 wks late. Good Luck girl!!

also if you wait to take another one... make sure you do it first thing in the morning, you know when you first get up to take the morning potty break. lol. they say that way there is a chance for more of the hormone to be in the urine. if that doesn't work... i would get a blood test. good luck.:hugehug

I was 17 when I had my first son and 19 when i had my second. its a tough road but its worth it. i don't know what i would do with myself without my boys. I'm 23 now. Good luck sweetie. Let us know what you find out.

Are you normally regular like clockwork? MANY things can cause a period to delay or not show up. Lack of ovulation, stress, hormones messed up etc. If you think you are pregnant I would request a blood test to be sure. But if not then it could be something else...

Wow, well I hope you are trying to be careful at least. You are ONLY a JR in high school right? I had my son then, and I can tell you its no cake walk. Its not easy. And looking back, its not "cute". I was a baby having a baby. Not to smart. I had to work my ass off just to finish high school on time. Didnt get a prom or real graduation. But whatever... :no

The morning thing is because the urine is more concentrated. The dyes in tests are all different tho and that could be why you got a faint in the AM. But the AM is the best time because you havent been drinking water to dilute the urine, you havent been peeing etc. Its nice and concentrated and built up

My sister never got a positive result until she had the blood test.

It may be the stress of life. I know that i didn't have my period once for a whole month. I thought that I was going to have a kid but i hadn't had sex yet and foundout that it was just stress.

I am actually going through the same thing right now. I am about a week or so late on mine, and I just took a at home test and it was negative. But I haven't been late forever. So I am super freaking out and scared too. But take a blood test hunny. I am going this week to get one.

I'd get a blood test, you can have a false negative, but not positive. If you want to talk pm me-I'm 24 weeks.
