He has a nice voice. All he needs is a professional voice coach to bring out that more soulful sound... Some of his notes gave me goose bumps :yes

In my opinion he knows hes gonna be there for a while now- and im sure some part of this poor kid dreads it each week. BUT at least he is being a good sport and rolling with the punches. Its not his fault ppl are voting for him so there is no need to bash HIM as a kid like ppl are. Its not like hes paying ppl to vote- they are doing it out of their own free will. I think if he would pick the perfect songs for him and take his time he wouldnt be too bad. I think hes one of those ppl that can sound great on a few songs (which is how he made it to the top 24 in the first place) but when asked to sing outside of those songs and styles he just doesnt have it. But God bless him for being brave enough to get up there every week!! i know I couldnt do it!!!

I actually liked him somewhat in auditions when he sounded like that still. Once he hit Top 24 it was all downhill. I don't know what happened :shrug Trying too hard to impress? Nerves? Who knows.
