My DH's friend is having the baby probably tonight...her water has broken this afternoon but she is last we heard up to 6 dialated (sp) I know DH wants to go to the hospital tommororw to see them and everything..and bring them something so I was wondering what did anyone bring you at the hospital that you liked or that you wished someone would have brought you? I know the guys are getting the it's a girl cigars for them all to smoke but I wanted to do something nice for the mommy and the daddy besides giving him cancer lol..I was thinking a gift basket or flowers or something but not sure..any ideas?

A damn pizza. I was so hungry after giving birth both times.

I dunno, I selfishly like giving baby outfits because it means I can pick one out that I would put my kid in!

Maybe take her a small spa pamper bath set that she can use once she's healed from delivery. I know I hear that a lot of new Mom's feel like they just don't have time to take care of themselves so that might make her feel special and ensure she gets some time for herself. Good luck!!

bring her REAL shampoo and soap!!! that is one thing they didnt have at balboa that i really really wished i had!! and my mom got me brand new slippers that i looooved!

food!! i was starving after i had sydney, mainly because i had thrown everything up while i was in labor. but food would be good, flowers, a gift basket, maybe even a gift certificate so that mom can do something nice for herself once she's home and feeling good.
