I took the 13 year old to the Pregnancy Care Center this morning. Her test was negative but they want to retest on April 20th. I sure hope the next one is negative as well. It really is what is best for her. I'm waiting to talk to the worker to find out if they did a test. The PCC didn't tell me that I needed to take her to the dr. The 13 year old told me that she m/c in the clinic but we were only there for an hour so I don't think that happened. I'm hoping that she said that just to cover up the fact that she THOUGHT she was pregnant but wasn't. I didn't tell her where we were going until we were on our way.

Thanks ladies. I don't know about all that you ladies are saying. DH and I do it because we feel called to do it, we love doing it and it is very rewarding for us. We love to see these kids come in knowing that we have a safe place for them to stay, a place where they can grow and be nurtured until relatives are found or the parents get it together. There's nothing better than seeing a Mom who has been headed downhill get things together and do things right for her and her kids. We've had a greater than normal % of kids who have been reunified even when CPS said there was no way. I don't know what will happen with these girls but we are committed to them until they find a relative that is suitable. We try really really hard NOT to pass kids on to other placements.
