I have let DS watch rated R movies in the past... But I'm selective about what ones.. They have to be historical war movies..

So, this new 300 movie is out, he wants to see it.. Has anyone seen it? Are there boobies/sex scenes in it??

I believe that there's 3 different scenes of it.

It's mostly just violent, but no full frontal nudity. Butt cheeks and tatas - The Queen's and the Oracle's. It's plenty bloody.


If I may, Gerard Butler is damn hot. DH has been getting very lucky since that movie was released lol!

How old is your daugher? I saw some guy when dh and I went to go watch it, who brought his 3 young daughters, they were probably about ages 8-12 and I thought the movie was kind of innapropriate for them to watch. I would say at least 13 up with a parent might be ok.

He's 7... I don't normally let him watch rated R movies, but I've let him watch The Passion, and a couple other historically accurate war films.. I think I'll be previewing this one before he sees it for sure.. He's not allowed to see boobies...

I've seen it, and although it was really good, I don't think it would be quite appropriate for a 7 year old. There is one pretty drawn out sex scene, and a naked woman (oracle) dancing/twitching/flipping around. Theres also another sex reference, but that one isn't shown.
