My husband got back from deployment in November and we are now currently in the process of moving to Fort Hood. This will be my first move with the Army because my husband was in the NG and just switched into Army. I mean sure the NG is great but sometimes I feel so disconnected from the other "full-time" military wives and families. We live in Indiana and you are hard pressed to find someone else that is military, especially in a small town like mine. I was just curious. It took about a month to get everything taken care of. When DH was in the NG, I had no other military friends. I'm so excited now to have a bunch of friends that actually know what I'm going through!
