Hello everyone! My name is Heather. I've been married for almost 2 years now. My husband got back from deployment in November and we are now currently in the process of moving to Fort Hood. This will be my first move with the Army because my husband was in the NG and just switched into Army. I'm very excited but very nervous at the same time!

first off :heythere :weldust
ok second: how long ago did he switch? Bc my dh is NG and I was just wondering how hard the transition is? I mean sure the NG is great but sometimes I feel so disconnected from the other "full-time" military wives and families. We live in Indiana and you are hard pressed to find someone else that is military, especially in a small town like mine. I was just curious. Hope you enjoy it here. :yes

It was actually pretty easy. It took about a month to get everything taken care of. When DH was in the NG, I had no other military friends. I'm so excited now to have a bunch of friends that actually know what I'm going through!
