Taylor is finally showing a few signs of being interested in the potty, so we are going to start this week.

Where do we even begin?? I am going to get her the Elmo potty DVD, and a book or two we can read to her. But where do we go from there? I feel dumb for asking this, but this is a huge first for us.

Val's just starting too and I sit her on the pot first thing in the morning, before bed, after nap...anytime she asks and SOMETIMES after a BM or wet diaper. Thats as far as I've gotten. Oh and before bathtime too. She likes sitting on the toilet but hasnt done anything on it yet. I havent had any resistance so hopefully she wont give me any. I'll let you know in a few months! :giggle

I got the book Toilet Training in a Day and read it before I actually started training Kray. It was really helpful as I had no clue!!! I strongly suggest it!

Thanks, I will look into that!

We plan on rewarding her when she does go, and praise to to high heaven. :lol She is all about sitting on the potty right now, but she hasn't done anything in it. All we know is to put her on it a lot and see if she goes. She knows what you do in the potty, so wish us luck! :teehee

She is SO smart, and I feel like if she would go in there a few times she would breeze right through this.

I let him run naked. I put him on the potty the first couple of times and I pee at the same time he is on it and he went. I use a reward system. He would get an M&M or a Dibs ice cream for going ;)
