Yes, they left this morning at 9:30am :sadeyes I know that mine and Bettyboop (Rachel) have a husband on there. Thanks for the support :D

I am glad you posted this Becky, I was just thinking the same thing. I must be such a sap because I always cry when they show ships leaving or the homecomings on the news. We are all for you ladies.

hang in there..hopefully it goes by fast...I watched it last night and they talked to a lady who it's their last deployment...I swear when it's my hubby's last deployment I'll be wearing a shirt that says "thank God it's over after this"

So my hubby is gone...
I ran away to Canada to ease some pain, but that has not worked. It is grey and cold here. I miss my house with my hubby's smells. I feel sad all the time, and everyone here (my friends and family) want me to just get over it so I can have a good time.
We were not as prepared as I would have liked to have been for this. I had one month to wrap my head around this, and I think that it never really hit me. This is my third deployment, but it feels like my first as I have not done this in seven years. I am miserable. My only saving grace is that next weekend I am heading home to San Diego to be with the others who are just as miserable as me. ;)

I must be crazy, I drove all the way to BC from San Diego in 36 hours with three kids.
