So, since we've gotten the monsters, they've pretty much taken control of the bed. Who knew that something so small could take up so much room? :nutts

Our cats are always in bed with us. The one has to lay right on top of me most of the time!

He used to sleep with us, but with two adults and a 80lbs dog, someone had to go and it wasn't dh or I!! We bought him a bed that is right next to me, so he is just as happy there!

I said sometimes. I let Pepper up on the bed if DH isn't there. DH lets him on the bed if I'm not there. If we're both there, there's not enough room for a 100 pound lap dog on the bed :rofl

ETA: When we lived in WA I came home one morning to find this - I wasn't lying about the 100 pound lap dog thing :hehe :

when we had cats years ago, they slept in our room until they moved out with new adopted parents. They still sleep in their new parent's beds at night from what I hear! :hehe

When we had our dauschund in Virginia, she would sleep with Bill and I. We didn't mind. She was small and didn't hog up alot of space. She would sleep between my knees :hehe.

I know when we get another daschund when we move, we won't care if he/she sleeps with us.

When I lived at home, my 110 lb Rott/Newfie used to *hop* (more like cannonball) into bed with DJ and I. That was a treat. :rolleyes He was used to sleeping with me and was none to pleased when DJ would visit for the weekend.

All three of them most of the time. The cats take up the most space... they think they own the bed. Our dog has a bed right next to my side but she would rather be in bed with us

our lap dog always freaking finds a way to sleep with us..usually he waits till we are asleep and sneaks into bed...:rolleyes

Oh yeah. My Pego LOVES it when he knows I am going to bed. He HAS to sleep near me. Usually he lets me hold him like a teddy bear. Dh is allergic to him though :hehe

No way. Our dog is big enough that there is no way we'd be comfortable with him in the bed. Also he likes to be near our faces & spreads out everywhere. He's not allowed on any furniture, anyway.

Yep Mr. Kenya - my kitty sleeps with me. He curls up right in between my arms.

db doesn't like animals in the bed but whenever he isn't home for the night i let Lucy ( my 60 pound "lap" dog) sleep in the bed with me. Katrina (the cat) isn't allowed in mine and db's bedroom at all unless we are in there we always have to shut the door b/c she thinks our bed (mostly my $500 down comforter) is her litter box:no :no :duh :nutts

Yep our little kitty sleeps at our feet. But if we had a dog I don't think we would have it in bed. Cats are small so they don't take up that much space.

oh yes, our dog is on the bed with us all the time, you can tell when he is getting tired or we are up later then usual because he just stares at us with this look of "isn't it time for bed yet"

Our dog doesn't sleep with us in bed. Somebody would have to be moving over because she just sprawls out everywhere if she did. She sleeps on the floor on my side of the bed or out in the hallway in front of the bedroom door.

i don't mind the cat on the bed even though he's heavy. he doesn't always sleep on the bed though. the dog would take up half the bed!

The cats sleep in the bed with me when DH isn't home although they always leave the bed at some point in the night. They don't want to sleep on the bed when we are both in there together though.

Tabitha sleeps with us at our feet but Uh-oh has his own bed

Odie sleeps in his kennel so that isn't a problem. Horus thinks he has to sleep damn near in my throat when Joe isn't home. It gets rather annoying. I end up throwing him out of the room and closing the door. When Joe's home Horus sleeps in his throat.

3 out 4 sleep in the bed with us most nights. They at least start there. They haven't let the new one in their bed at night.

I have a twin bed and a dog that weighs almost 90 pounds. There is no way he is sleeping with me. I've let him lay there while I watch a movie, and he takes up the whole freaking bed and squirms like a big worm.

If he sleeps in my room, it's on the floor.

I have a yorkie and shepherd mix, and the yorkie ALWAYS sleeps with us. She likes to burrow under the covers. The big one kind of comes and goes, but when he's on the bed he usually stays at our feet so it's not too bad.

When I had Hunny she would always sleep with us unless we shut the door.. the cats have always been the same way. Cougar sleeps with me about 99% of the time.
