Im new and still learning. What does DH and DB mean? everyone says it so I dont think it stands for someones initials....Confused?

dh=dear husband
db=dear boyfriend

At first I thought it was "deployed boyfriend" or "deployed fiance" but then it was used for sons and daughters! :giggle I knew that wasn't right...

It can also be "darling boyfriend" etc. That's how I see it when I read it :)
