Hi Everyone!

I'm pretty new to the whole military thing. My boyfriend is on deployment for six months. This is a first time for both of us. I don't really know a lot about the Navy and all the inner workings of it, but I have my friend who gives me all the information since she's already been through it. The first thing I'm trying to deal with right now is getting over the loneliness. If anyone has any advice for me, let me know!

To overcome loneliness you need to get out of the house and get a job or go to the gym. Stuff like that, you can make it!!

Thanks for the quick responses! I'm trying to keep myself as busy as possible. I'm a high school English teacher and I work as a bank teller for a bank in town. I'm pretty busy all the time, but it's the weekend that kills me. Just being in a bar or at the mall without him makes it all so empty. Don't get me wrong, I still make the best of it, but it's pretty depressing.
