Has anyone's so done it? Is it a hard process? Uhh...any other info would be helpful. :D

My brother's currently in the process of switching from AF to Army. I don't know what the whole process entails though. :(

It wasn't hard for us but I'm sure its a little easier with the NG & Army since they are similar. It took us a few weeks to get everything transferred ... it took a little longer for us since we had a new recruiter working with us.

We are in the process of going from navy to coast guard right now. It's not a hard process (just make sure he doesnt break his ankle lol). All he has to do is be in the weight bracket he needs to be, take the asvab and get a physical. and since he is has previously served, they will have him to to new jersey for a refresher course (just to tell them how the coast guard runs so they dont do it the way they did it in the navy). Then depending on their rate, they go to school, or they get put on a wait list and have TAD somewhere until there is room in the school he is trying to go to, then he goes to school for x amount of months, and then goes to his next duty station. its not hard at all. just a little time consuming especially if he has to lose weught. So they have to retake the asvab? Dh will love that. lol I'm sure he'll meet all the physical requirements....but we've still got a few years left in the navy.
