After r&r it went by so much faster!

first half always went by quicker to me because it felt like an underway....last half sucked cause of the anticipation

For me the first half is the longest because of the kids adjusting to DH being gone.

For me the first half went by the fastest. When we hit the 6 month mark and I knew only 6 more months, it just seemed to crawl by.

For sure the first half goes the fastest. DH's unit doesnt get R&R. The last half pretty much stinks.

it's hard to say... DH didn't get R&R until 14 months into his activation.. But then he got extended back in January.. So he'll be gone another 9 months after R&R..

I guess I'd say after....

not sure because i am still in the first half so i didnt vote but i feel like its flying by. im almost almost half way thru tho!! and i have a feeling that its gonna keep going by fast because i have this summer to keep me busy! ill vote later ;)

I said the second half because, for me, its a purely mental thing. I KNOW that we are over halfway, it feels like a major milestone once I got past it. Just knowing that makes it go faster for me.

Definitely the first half. I think I just built myself up so much to being halfway over it just dragged after that.

The first half always seemed to DRAGGGGG on and on. Once we hit halfway it seems to slip by...then he's home.

From what I remember it seemed to be the second half. Ask me again in 2 years. :teehee

ya...i think it would be like this for me. cuz the first half is like.."man...when is it gonna be halfway!!!" then when you do reach that peak..then, you have an idea of how long it was.
