I said goodbye to my db on Thursday and felt so down about it you know. Ever since then, the people at this college have been just simply amazing. The guys I've worked with have been so supportive, a lot of the faculty and staff have stopped me in the halls. (One of them even brought me food in a tupperware container because she knew I wouldn't want to cook.) But the thing that impressed me the most is my friend Jess. She showed up yesterday at my work with a bag and informed me that she was coming with to spend the night. She had all my favorite movies and snacks and is going to come with me tonight also. We've always been off and on again but lately she has been so good to me.

This deployment really scared me, but after these past few days I've decided that I really am going to make it. With everyone here and all you ladies online, this will be hard but not as hard as I thought.

That's so awesome that everyone has been so supportive! The people you surround yourself with can make all the difference in the world when it comes to surviving a deployment with your sanity still intact!!!! your friend Jess sounds like a wonderful friend!! Ya'll have a WONDERFUL time girl!! :D
