About how much TV do you watch in a week?

I do the same. It seems like the TV is always on for background noise. I do enjoy watching TV though. :D

Sometimes I like the silence, but especially when DH isn't home the TV is ALWAYS on. When I'm not home I leave it on for Sophie so she has voices and noise to keep her from getting scared.

We do watch TOO much TV though. It saves us money to stay home and watch our favorite shows rather than going out and wanting to watch movies all the time.

When DH was deployed, it seemed like I NEVER turned the TV off. I hated living alone so having the TV on made me feel better I guess.

We watch a lot of TV too. We have way too many favorite shows. Thank god for TIVO! :)

I watch very little, daily show and colbert report nightly, but thats it. I get my news/weather online.

5-10 hrs... I leave it on when I'm home alone or tryna sleep, but as far as watching it, very few shows keep my interest.

The kids are usually watching TV (That's so Raven, Cheetha Girls, Suite Life)when we're in the house. I only watch a few select shows. These are the shows are on my must list.

1. Sopranos
2. Ghost Whisperer
3. House
4. NYPD SVU (Love the marathons!)

Other than that it's on for the kiddos or for background noise.

That's what we do as well, the tv is always on...but really no one is actually watching it. I leave it on to the news if the kids are playing in their room, or put it to educational tv if they're in the same room. They watch their favorite shows, then they go and play, so I turn it back to the news. Really, I only sit and actively watch the shows I like (House, American Idol, some other specials).

Our tv has cobwebs growing on it from neglect....:rofl.

I'd say 5-10 hours. I watch Y&R every day, and I watch the evening news every night. We also watch 24 (and Heroes is coming back). I think it's closer to 10.

M-F I get out of work around 4pm and go to the gym after then watch tv, so I guess during the week is about 3 hours each day. On the weekend we watch TV a lot so I would say at least 5 hours, soooo....

I would say about 25 hours a week probably. But also depends on how busy I am a certain week or weekend, it could go up or down.

Other - none...we no longer have cable and don't even get basic channels. Zach watches Bob the Builder and Thomas the Train a lot but me personally I really don't watch a lot of movies any more and no tv.

about 5-10, I usually watch Dr. Phil while I iron and then I try to catch Everybody Loves Raymond and that about it...

Lots. The tv is on basically 24/7. (Ever since I was little I have had to have some noise in the back ground, stems from panic attack disorder :()

I really don't watch tv now that I think about it. I usually try to cram all the shoes I missed on Saturday or Sunday with my DVR. Oh God I love that thing. So I put 10 hours or more

I watch the news at the gym, so I get 1-2 hours of it in while I'm working out per day. Sometimes I'll go home and watch some more, or a baseball game. So it probably does add up to 5-10.

Mine is on it feels like 24/7. DH is gone and its on mainly for noise, but whether I'm actually watching it or not is another story.
