One of my cats has been charfing up hairballs every day for the past week or so. Are there any good hairball foods or anything else you would recommend? He's never really had them before...

I had a long haired siamese that had alot of hairball problems.. I fed her the Science Diet hairball remedy stuff, plus I gave her medicine once a week for it.. I always like the science diet brand, it makes their poop stink alot less..

Science Diet Hairball stuff rocks! If you ever eat tuna in a can give the cat the liquid that you drain from the can. That helps my cat with her hacking problem, an its also a treat for her.

They have hairball medicine at the pet stores to help with that, poor kitty:(

Blue Buffalo hairball remedy is a great one, also the indoor formula helps too.

My cats get them a lot, but I haven't found any good foods. Just some goopy formula I give them that works wonders!!

They eat the indoor formula. Can you get the blue buffalo stuff at petsmart?

my cats eat Iams with the furbal remedy. I give them also sometimes this stuff that comes like toothpaste. I forget the name and I'm out of it right now. But its brown and it says you can mix it with there food or put it on one of there paws to lick off. I have to put it on there paws. They dont like it too much at first b/c its sticky and they try to fling it off.

lol Yeah I've used that sticky stuff on his paws before.

That's the stuff my cats use. Luckily they are weird and eat it right off our finger :lol
