I'm not too proud of my track record with respect to reaching out when I need it, joining communities (either in person or online), or keeping up communications, but I'm hoping to change that. Hopefully this is a step in the right direction. I'm 23 and currently living and working in Downtown Los Angeles, Ca. I actually just recently decided to move back to my hometown of Honolulu, HI after I finish my current internship (August-ish). Randomness: I'm definitely a cat person, I adore food and wish I had a kitchen more conducive to actually cooking stuff rather than microwaving food. I'm a music freak--not necessarily knowledgeable, but it's the way I connect to people, places, and memories. Now that I'm done with college, I've been trying to read the books I've wanted to read but didn't have time to with school and work going on. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Currently, I've been in danger of crumbling under the adjustments I've had to make for my BF's first deployment--he commissioned just this past December from the ROTC program--hence my presence here on the forums. By the way, I just want to say here and now (and most likely again somewhere else) that I ADMIRE you Military SOs and Spouses. I'm not even fully indoctrinated into the lifestyle, and already I have a great RESPECT for those who live it. It may not be something you asked for, but you're doing it.
