OK so I have flown a few times with Brayden as a lap baby, but those days are over. He is way too big for it. Last time I swore it was the last!!
So here's my question....
His car seat is SUPER heavy nad big... and I am traveling alone (which means I have to push his stroller, carry my carry-on and tote around his car seat around the airports---- fun, huh?) Do they make lightweight carseats (sorry if that is a dumb question) and I know they make strap things where you can carry the carseat on your back. Where do you get one?
Any help would be great!!
what about a booster seat? They are fairly light. Like one that you can stap them into and so forth but it is lighter than a normal carseat.

i read that booster seats don't fit airplane safety guidelines or something.

What about a full seat booster?? They might fit better than the older ones.

U not allowed to use a booster seat with only a lap belt-it has to be a shoulder/lap belt combo. Even for convertible carseats once u start using them as a booster seat.

Someone on this site, I believe, got one and really liked it.
Those bags u put the carseats in with the shoulder strap can be bought at Babies R Us. Well, I saw them at the Babies R Us when we lived in Maine.
Here's a link to buying one of those car seat travel bags:

Good Luck with whatever u decide to do! I'm not sure what I'd do with DD when we fly with her since I believe her carseat is too big to fit in an airplane seat....
