Uh, no thanks! I'm perfectly happy with my "screen" up during my c-sections :) I could barely handle the smells in the OR let alone pull my own baby out of my womb :nutts

I'd do it. The curtain was annoying and it all went so darn fast. I did get to see her and kiss her right away but it woulda been nice to actually hold her.

With Ethan I was asleep under general since it was an emergency section so I wouldnt of had that option

Say what??:inshock I don't think I could do it. First of all, I'm usually pretty much out of it during my csections and barely manage to stay awake for the birth and passout while they are sewing me up, so I would be afraid I would drop my own baby.

I 100% agree with you. With both of mine, I felt very detached like I wasn't even there. I would have loved to at least have the option to have the screen down.

I pushed all 3 of mine out, but I got to grab and pull Ethan and Emilee when they were half way out and that was just too cool!! I would definately love to do that if I ever had to have a c-section, but I don't have a stomach of iron so it wouldn't bother me all.

I would do it. I hate the curtian. Blood and stuff doesnt bother me so that would have been awesome. my husband watched so why couldn't I? I think its neat. And to each their own. No one has the right to judge someone elses birth as long as its not dangerous. I am not having anymore but if I did I would defentially ask about that.

nope, i liked my curtains. i didnt feel detached at all. as soon as they had them out, they lifted them over the curtain for me to see before they were cleaned up. and before they left the OR, i got to kiss to them.
