What do you like your SO to return from deployment wearing?

LOL I like the uniform so that when we get home I can strip away that last bit of the deployment and get back to our life.

uniform cause i dont get to see him in it very often-we don't live together right now-and he looks so hot it in :giggle

I don't think he's allowed to wear anything but his uniform... I know that when he was travelling for R&R, he had to wear his uniform if he wanted to get paid for his travel time..

They also wouldn't let him wear his CIB for some reason while traveling... I thought that idea was a total slam on what he's been doing. Why award CIBs or CABs if they can't display them?

I know that on DH's carrier and I think the others are like this too but if you want off the ship with everybody else you HAVE to wear your uniform. If you want to wear civies you have to wait about an hour or two after everybody else is off.... I think most people pick their uniforms :)

Never seen him come back in a uniform and that was fine by me. I really dont care either way as long as I get him back. ;)

Now that I think about it I'd take the civilian clothes... mainly because he catches a plane back and would be so much more comfortable in those than in a uniform. :)

Uniform for sure! I have only seen him in his dress uniform a few times in the last 3 years and I get to see it this Friday! I can't wait, but he hates it!

I know for the soldiers here, when they are returning from deployments, most of the soldiers are all returning at the same time so they travel together and have a ceremony type thing once they arrive on base. So, they really don't have a choice but to wear their uniform.

Dh always gets off the boat last due to his job. I don't mind either way, but I voted civilian clothes because he always gets off the boat in them.

This is the first one so I don't know. He always wore civies when they came back from underways. I'll just be happy he's home, I probably won't even notice what he's wearing. lol
