How old was your daughter when she got her first bra? I'm sure I've asked this a while back but dd is BEGGING us and I'm just not ready. :sadeyes

How old is she again?? I know Morissa asked for one probably 2 - 3 years ago, but it was the 'cute character' ones....no 'real' ones. She was about 8 then. She only wore them a few times...but they made her feel pretty and grown up. NOW, she's actually starting to grow...so we need to get the 'real' ones.

My daughter isn't old enough for a bra yet, though she would love one :) My nieces all started wearing training bras aroud 10 or 11 years old.

She's 8 for God's sake. The sad thing is that she is starting to develop. :tears I keep telling here that she doesn't need a bra until she can hold up a pencil :lmao

I think somewhere between 10 & 12 my girls starting wearing bras. When they first starting showing some development I got them just those small sport bra-like things that are stretchy and don't have any seams in them. My 17 y/o still wears the same type of thing now quite often when she isn't worried about looking "flat". She is still probably still an A cup maybe small B so she can get away with wearing them.

maybe compromise and get her a full coverage sports bra? they make them for kids that young. :)

OH MY LORD!! I haven't even thought about bras! :tears.....:( I'm going to be a sad camper when my lil 9 month old grows up. I started getting boobs when I was 2nd grade! Then stopped at 7th grade. lol I was known as milkduds to the little boys. :( I hope she doesn't develop like me.

Dominique will be 8 next week and last Saturday we went shopping and she tried on a dress that for the very first time I could tell she was "developing". LORD!!! Needless to say we DID NOT buy that dress!!!

I first noticed the other day when she put on her gymnastics suit. I just about died. Time goes by too quickly. :sadeyes

My DD is 10 and they are HUGE!!! She has been in a bra for almost 2 years. This summer she is going to have to go up to a very full B. I had to pay for boobs. I know she does not get it from my side. none of us have them and 2 of us had to pay for them. They grow up way to fast.

:tears I don't wanna think about bras yet either. Not for my little one year old. With both Josh and I's family history, our little Laney will be in a bra early.

I have to keep an eye on what she wears. Beczuse of her boobs some "kids outfits" accent them. It's tough. She is 10 and I have to adjust her wardrobe because of her boobs. Last years bathing suite lasted a week. She had a growth spurt and I was like "Oh Hell NO"! :rolleyes I was hoping to avoid this for a few more years.
