I am just sitting here trying to think of ways to fill my weekend again:rolleyes . Kinda feel like this weekend is going to be a little harder. Anyone have some suggestions to fill the weekend and not get so down?:sadeyes

:hugs ive been having "that kinda day" for the past 3 weeks it feels like. if the weather is going to be nice you could go to the park or a playground maybe? its always nice to be in the sunshine! if the weather isnt going to be very nice maybe you could go to the mall and walk around maybe find something cute to treat yourself to? i know the feeling about finding something to do to make the weekend go by faster. if you were by me we could do something together!! :) hang in there i hope you find some fun this weekend!

I love the movies, so I try to go as much as I can. I go walking in the park in the morning and treat myself to a movie in the afternoon. It tends to make the entire afternoon go by a lot faster (and I don't end up hip deep in debt from my impulse buys!)

If the weather is nice and you're close to one, you and your little one could go to the zoo or something. I know he's still little, but getting out in the fresh air and walking around would be good for both of you. Not to mention seeing all the animals :). That was one of my favorite things to do when I was a kid.

I went to a movie tonight, that helped pass the time a little for me. There's a huge track meet at my college this weekend so I might go sit outside at that for awhile tomorrow. So maybe try searching out some different things like that! Getting outside definitely helps me:)

definitely get out in the sun. go to the park or something. rent movies from blockbuster, maybe cook something new? try new things!!

JoyS and I tried to have a barbq tonight to help pass the time. Sure we set stuff on fire and nothing was edible... but I have not laughed like that since he left.

I was thinking of maybe somehow doing handprints of my son. I bought some craft paint but just trying to think of something creative to put it on to mail him...any ideas?
Then I think I am going to look for some new sandals and go to the park...that should be enough to fill up Saturday.lol

:rofl I love to set stuff on fire. DBF warned me when I bought this place that I have a wooden deck and that I should not purchase a grill until he returns from deployment.

Ohhh you could clean out the vents in the dryer. I have to do that and for some reason I think it is going to be quite a job.

:yes Sometimes that doesn't happen though especially if I just feel like lounging around doing nothing.

well i have almost made it through Saturday. :whew The biggest thing is just entertaining the little one. Once he goes to bed I can just lay around and watch my shows. But during the day I try to do different things for my son. We went to Payless today and Walmart. I got some items for dh and I am going to put a package together tomorrow.:wink
I think tomorrow we will go to the park. He should be able to do the infant swings and maybe I can get some pictures for dh as well. Thanks guys for all your messages, it sure helps to come here and know I am not alone.

*and no my dh isn't on a tank but just wasn't sure what to put for my icon. He is army medical though.
