I just decided that I'm going to get a die cut machine!!! and I'm still trying to decide between the sidekick and the big shot. I mainly want it for alphabets but the Big shot even emboss!! :) I know Ashley has the Sizzix, who else owns a die cut machine?

I have the sizzix and erin does too I know
I don't use mine for alphas as much as I thought I would though

Do you find your self using it often?

Yep, I have one too. You can emboss with the Sizzix as well, you just have to buy the embossing folders.

I have a sizzix machine and 2 alphabets and a bunch of different shapes. I don't use it as much as I should :blush

When I actually scrapbook I use it lol

Can you use the sidekick's with the sizzix? I was going more towards the Big Shot b/c it's bigger and emboss but if the sizzix does the same then I might go with the sizzix since it's cheaper and I can always get it with a discount coupon.

you can use the sizzlets in the sidkick or the sizzix but you can't use the big sizzix dies in the side kick and like Erin said you can emboss with it too. I sold erin some :D
Oh and you can use quickuts and some other brand of dies in the sizzix too.
got to www.sizzix.com and sign up for their newsletter and somewhere on the site it talks about an adapter so that you can use the other dies

I think I'm going to buy the sizzix too. I could get it on Ebay for cheaper or get it with a Michael's Coupon.
BTW I heard Michael is having a 50% coupon for sunday I think and a 40% for monday :)

Well, I still have two more 40% coupons to use from tue till sat I think it is. I don't think I'll be using them though since I spent quiet a few on the machine and today on the alphabets. I got the Funky Brush and can't wait to use it!!! :)
