he will be gone a year in July, he was supposed to be home in July and now he's been extended until Sept. my sister is a mess :sadeyes :tears

Our neighbor's wife is gone and it will be a year in July. He said they aren't extending her though so I don't know if it is because of where she is at. I wish the best for your BIL Kristin:hugs

I AM SORRY TO HEAR THAT... hazards of the jobs suck !!!

He's not even in a combat zone...not in Iraq or Afghanistan so I don't know why they extended him. He's an active reservist so they are stationed here at home so atleast she's here by me, but that still doesn't help the way she feels :sadeyes I've done all I can do for her, I try to keep her busy and she's in school and works m-f. Hopefully it will go by quick for her.

Well its only 2 more months and as you said hes not in a combat zone so those are huge positives. It really does suck he was extended but these next two months will fly I am sure. (L)
