Hello! My name is Wendy.I am a 28-year-old from Ohio. I have 2 daughters, 3 and 4, and a wonderful hubby, Jeff. Jeff joined the Army Nat'l Guard 3 years ago. He is now preparing for his first deployment to Iraq..well, his first deployment period, unless you consier 3 weeks in Mississippi after the hurricane. To be very honest, I am starting to realize that the idea of him being over there is scarey as hell. I have sort of been pushing all my feelings aside since he joined in my attempts to be 100% supportive of his choice. I am still 100% supportive, but have come to realize recently that I am not dealing properly with what is going on. Jeff's unit's FRG is not functioning at the moment and I am relatively new to the Army wife thing and am just trying to see if there are others in the same boat. I know I must sound like a crazy lady, but I am really not...lol!
