So the other day I was in the kitchen eating some carrots and my mom's dog was begging for some so I thought what the heck so i gave her some and she LOVED it! No she eats them like they are candy, she also loves the core of pineapple.

So what are some weird things your pets eat?

Preston will pretty much eat anything! He eats tons of kale..I'm not a huge fan of Kale. So, I guess it is weird to me! :)

my rottie likes anything except rice and grapes. well he'll eat grapes but he peels them with his teeth first lol

oh i forgot my rottie also would eat corn cobs and sweet potatoes lol.

I used to have a dog that would eat potato peelings if I would drop some while making dinner.. Then the cat would run over and have to see what the dog had because he thought he was missing something..

Our old GSD used to LOVE apples. We had an apple tree in the yard and had to really watch her as she would take them, wedge them between her front paws and chow down. We had to watch her so she wouldn't eat too many and make herself sick.
The cats and dog we have now LOVE veggies of all kinds. Hugger is a HUGE potato fiend. He knows the sound of the bag and comes running from wherever he is. He begs until I cut off a chunk and toss it to him - then he plays with it for a few minutes before "killing" it so he can eat it.

My lab is REALLY picky lol..but my bulldog she will eat ANYTHING..so my lab will eat whatever she eats so she don't get it lol it is actually funny. They love peanutbutter on celery though and it is so funny to see my lab trying to lick the roof of his mouth. My mom's bulldog she loves pickles I thought that was always weird. Oh My bulldog she loves banana's and will FREAK out whenever she sees one.

This isn't weird food, because it's dog food, but my dog eats it in a weird way. She dumps her food out of her bowl and onto the floor, and goes through all of it picking out the color food she likes the best. Then she moves on to the next color, so on and so on. She is :screwy

Oh, and she LOVES chicken!

Really?? :wow I didn't know that...I know about chicken bones and chocolate, but I never heard anything about grapes!! Good to know!!

My parents Scottish Terrier loves carrots too.

My male Maine Coon Cat loves lettuce. How boring is that? But, he does, thinks it's just great. If I'm making a salad, he needs his too. I have to feed it to 'His Majesty' though, piece by piece. Other wise he'll just leave it on the floor.

:lol My mom's male bulldog does that as well..he uses his feet and knocks the bowl over and scoops it up off the flooor..we also had a dauchund that would ONLY pick out the cheese bits out of his dog food and leave everything else.

Our one cat will eat just about anything. Vegtables, pretzels, anything we give her.
