I've been lurking for a while and posting here and there, so I thought it was time that I finally introduce myself.
My name is Katie and I am happily married to my sailor, Bo. We have one daughter and she is 11...until June. She would like to be 18:inshock , but we'll hold off on that for a while.
We are currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan awaiting orders. Hoping to get back to the east coast. DH has been stationed in Norfolk, Cuba, Maine, MS (for school) and now Japan. He is from TX and I am from ME. I've been a Navy wife for a total of 10 years....my dd's dad was also Navy. Bo and I have been married for over 3 years, but together 5.:lovestruck
We have two Maine Coon cats that keep me company during the day when he works and she is in school. I also am a Stampin' UP! demo, which fills some of my other time. I always worked full time until we came to the island. We thought I could become Mom the Taxi while we were here. My dd is in Tae Kwon Do, she's also in a church group, she's done chorus & after school clubs etc. She's a busy girl.
I look forward to getting to know you all. It's been fun reading through posts and 'meeting' you that way too.:hi
Edit to add: I was wondering about this site. Is there a fee to see everything or do you have to get approved for certain areas? It's set up like a stamping forum I use and we have to pay for certain areas. Thanks
