Im only 18 but in love with a solider, but i cant say to much because i am also a solider, proudly serving in the Army National Guard.:D Me and my fiance just got engaged and plan on gettng married before i ship off to basic which will be in July. Now doin the sepration for 5 months in fine..because he'll be there to waych me graduate.But then when i come home in Dec. we have about 2 months until he deploys to Afganistan. Now we'll be married before i leave and be sperated fr like 4 months, then be together for 2 months and then seperate for about a year or so.I just want to meet some women who are in the same boat as me and be able to rlate and talk to them. If you could help me out that would be great!

Hey Babe...welcome.:hi Don't worry about spilling your guts to us. :hugs I do it all the time...my boyfriend/fiance is at AIT right now and i haven't seen him for 4 months and it will be another 3 months till i see him again. See this is what i exactly needed...girls like this. And usually i dont really get along with girls because we never have nething in common but meeting girls goin through the same stuff as me is a great feeling of being accepted.:mrgreen
Oh yea...how does everyone have all these cool things posted like timelines and pictures...how do i do that?

Welcome to SOS. YOu will find that the ladies here are great. Sometimes we all spill our guts and thats ok cause at least one person here understands. This is a great place to just come and act silly and to make friends.

Welcome, and I understand completely! Both me and Dh were in the Navy, and while we were stationed on ships near each other, for about a year everytime he pulled in, I pulled out, and vice versa, we added it up and we saw each other for about 3 weeks that year. There's lots of support here, and if you can make it thru that kind of seperation, you can make it thru anything!
