due to the fact that the sub ball is tonight dh and i are leaving cosby by himself for longer than we have at any other time. how can we keep him occupied? i've got a kong with peanut butter in it freezing currently (got the idea from stephanie). what else can we do?

We leave a Kong too, and she has all her toys. I think she just sleeps most of the time when we are gone. Sorry I dont have any other ideas.

when i leave pongo...i am pretty sure he sleeps the whole time. but we leave his toys out as well.

it takes longer for him to get the pb out i guess because he's got to get it to soften lol.

yeah cosby will probably sleep for most of it too. we'd pick up his food and water but that's too long for him to go without food or water for my liking and then all night too so we'll just deal with the potty on the floor if there is any left. and to those who say crate him we don't crate for personal reasons

good idea. i might try that with the kong. :)

And we always take up his food after each meal time but leave his water out. And DH and i dont crate either...so no worries. ;) i am sure cosby will be a good puppy while yall are gone.

Just what the pps said. Maybe you can leave a shirt with your sent on it around so the dog isn't so anxious missing you.
