I usually trim the cats' nails every 2 weeks, but they're long overdue since we were on leave. I have to clip them because their claws get stuck in fabrics and what not. I'm not sure I should clip them right now tho. Brownie is having too much fun chasing them and terrorizing them. I feel as if their claws are their only defense to her because she's so much bigger than them. I'm hoping if one of the cats claw the crap outta Brownie (not really, but enough) that she'll learn they fight back and she'll stop.

So should I clip them so they stop getting stuck in stuff or should I not clip them so they can defend themselves to Brownie?!

If you clip them she can still defend herself. Your better off cliping them because if she gets one stuck and your not around she could pull her nail right off.

Leaving nails can cause major issues for you in the long run. They can curl under and grown into pads.
