View Full Version : I need some creative brainstorming PLEASE!!!
cam45 04-28-2007, 11:00 PM Does anybody have any somewhat unique ideas of things to send over in care packages?
I've sent a lot of the things DB can really use, but it is all fairly non-exciting lol. I want to surprise him with things!
Any good ideas ladies? I know you all are very creative! TIA!!:D
I use this site for creative ideas.

Armylove 04-28-2007, 11:01 PM Do you have a limit on money? A friend of mine just send her hubby a portable dvd player, but made him a dvd of her, and her children and stuff like that. She carried it around with her for a couple of days taking video of stuff.
Um lets see. You could make a card, some cookies with little messages on them.

EmeraldEyes 04-29-2007, 04:36 AM I'm looking into buying a small camera that takes video images and can burn them to a disc, so I can take movies of dd right after she's born, that way dh can watch it from his laptop. I do the cookie thing too, but I get creative and make unusual ones. I make enough to share, his unit loves it!!
Elizabeth 04-29-2007, 04:55 AM I always send a cd with pics from home... And my husband is a foodie, so I send lots of snack packaged things, like cheez-its and all that so he can shove them in his pocket and eat them in the truck. He's addicted to Sports Beans, I buy them for the whole det now... Jelly Belly makes them and they are jelly beans with vitamins and whatnot in them! I order them from their website.

USNFFG52 04-30-2007, 03:30 PM One thing I did for my wife is I slept with the same shirt on each night for 3 days or so. You would think it smelled real bad but it didn't. After the 3 days were up I sprayed it with the cologne she likes to have me wear and sealed it up in a big ziploc bag. Another person on here put up a canned cake recipie so I am making that for her as well. I really have not sent stuff like dvd's or etc because there are sticky fingers on that ship and I would be upset if someone took her dvd player. I think I might still send her one but I am going to make it so its one you cant miss. I am going to take it apart, spray paint the case a flouresecent orange color and put some markings on it saying its hers. I do not think anyone would be dumb enough to take something THAT bright, lol.
christymichelle 04-30-2007, 04:23 PM i would tape some of my husbands fav. t.v. shows. all the guys seemed to enjoy that
