How do you get them not to become all broken and stuff when mailing them to a ship? I sent some to db and he told me they were all in a million pieces.

I sent some to db and he told me they were all in a million pieces. *~*Cori*~* 04-30-2007, 02:34 AM My trick was to put a couple pieces of bread inside the cookies and that will keep them moist and will lessen the chances of them crumbling. :) That always worked when I was mailing cookies and such to the ship during deployments :yes rachaelandyogi 04-30-2007, 02:37 AM great question! I was actually thinking about that for my db's next box. The bread trick sounds good, my mom used to do that for my brother when he was in college showgirl85 04-30-2007, 02:39 AM i put bread in. I am thinking that since the box had room in it for stuff to move around the cookies broke. *~*Cori*~* 04-30-2007, 02:46 AM Ooo that might me why also. Next time I would just pack that sucker full of packing peanuts and maybe wrap the cookie package in bubble wrap too. Just to keep it from getting knocked around. They don't tend to be very nice to our mail going overthere... I think they kick it a few times for extra measure on its way out :lol I have had some care packages go haywire too... things broken etc. And it was so frustrating because I felt I packed it well. I hope the next one has better luck Hun :) Jennifer 04-30-2007, 02:48 AM freeze them first, then pack them in a paper towel lined xoffee can or tupperware, with a piece of bread. make sure they are tightly packed in adn then ship them priority mail so they get their quick! chelsea<3josh 04-30-2007, 08:52 AM i put pieces of papertowel in to keep them from moving around. i pack the entire box super good and use newspaper to shove it all in there tight! im hoping the ones im sending today will make it there in less then a million pieces :lol |
