So last night I applied with the animal rescue of tidewater to be a foster parent for dogs!! I'm so excited one of the ladies is supposed to come over sometime next week to meet me and check out my place and meet my dog and I'm so excited! I've wanted to do this forever and I just wanted to share!

Awwwww.. :hugs good for you. That sounds like a big commitment. I don't think I could do it, but I am glad for people like you who can..

That's awsome :) I used to do fostering for cats and small dogs when I lived in California. It is very rewarding, although a bit sad when they find new forever-homes.

Good for you! I fostered a border collie and retrained him fo rhis new owner- he was going to be put down and now he's livin' the high life. :D It's a great feeling!

That's exactly why I want to do it! I want to help the animals find great homes, I know it will be tough when they do find a new home but then it will be time for me to help another dog!

Bless you for opening your home and heart to dogs in need. There are far too few foster homes available. We foster kitties and it is a heartwrenching and heartwarming experience all at once.
