to have a tiny pin hole type leak? With ella my water trickled it never fully broke like the big woosh. But all morning even right now ever couple of minutes I feel a "leak" I know so gross sorry TMI. i've already changed my panties once. I've been up since 7:30 so that's not too bad. I just wanted to ask you ladies before I called my Dr.

Yes it is possible.. That happened to me with my oldest and the docs refused to even see me if there was no gush. They said if your water breaks it's a gush.. which isn't always true. My water ended up breaking more.. but I was just leaking.. they finally checked me and it WAS amniotic fluid.

That's what my water did with Sydney, it never gushed it just trickled out, I felt like I kept wetting myself. I'd make sure it was amniotic fluid(catch some if you can in a cup and look at it's color and smell) and if you think it's fluid then call the doc.

Yes, a high leak will trickle instead of just gushing. I would call the doc, and get checked out.

Yes it's possible. I was having something similar awhile back and they wanted me to come in just to check and see if that is what it was. They also said that a small leak *can* repair itself. I'd call your dr just to be on the safe side. Keep us updated!!!

I'm not gonna call my Dr b/c in all hosnesty he's a dip. I have an appt on Thur so I'll just wait unless I feel like I'm dieing. I feel ok right now. I'll keep you ladies updated I promise.

ETA: I went in to check and when the nurse checked me it completely broke my water, so then I really went into labor.

It is possible but TMI here. I was changing my pantiliner at least 4 times per day due to urine leakage, discharge etc later on. And none was my fluid. And I always felt really wet down there and such before I had Ashley. And I had her via section and was no where near labor when I had her. And with Ethan I started feeling that same way around 36 weeks and I didnt go into labor with him until I was 41 weeks and 4 days

A couple ways you can help to tell is if you lay down for 30 minutes on your side then get up and feel a gush then it could very well be your water. Also if you go in to go pee and you cant stop the flow by kegels etc then it is likely your water as well.

I know for me tho it never was.

I had a small leak with E, that's when I headed into L&D. I called first and they told me to go ahead and they did an u/s to make sure he had enough fluid, etc. They broke my water after I got admitted and that's when the hardcore contractions came along...
