Mostly mystery/crime with an occassional romance novel. I've read some books that were excellent, not sure what category they would fall into.

I loved that book. :yes

I'm a history freak, so I generally stick to anything history related, non fiction & historical based fiction. I've read a ton of books on Vietnam & both World Wars.
I'll also throw in some of the religion based suspense stuff (Da Vinci Code, Thieves of Heaven) and horror/thriller/crimes.

I love a good romance book. Debbie Macomber is my favorite, although she has moved away from romance a bit. She's great!

chick lit, anything with a really good story....something i can't predict. i need to get into the minds of characters, not just the plot.

Since I am a children's librarian, I read a LOT of kids books. But when I get to read adult stuff, I mainly read mysteries, chick lit, and nonfiction.

I like scary fiction (pretty much just Stephen King though), historical fiction, occasional nonfiction history, and classics. Most of the stuff I read sits in the "fiction" section, with no specific place.

I go to the library every week or two and get at least ten books at a time, so I read just about anything that crosses my path. Right now I have a selection of some chick lit (two by Lori Foster, love her), a book about Jack the Ripper and if someone could've gone back in time to stop him (starting that one next) and a couple others I picked up off the new releases shelf, including one by Stephen King's alter ego, Richard Bachman (that one is slow starting). I read every chance I get, so I like a bunch of different genres.
