If you had 2 sweet adorable bunnies....would you keep them outside or inside? Ours our in our living room right now :lol They will probably eventually go outside...but I like having them in here :dunno Dh hasn't really said anything about it yet. If had his way our dog would be outside too, but I don't want him out either :lol. I just like being able to see them all day long. They don't smell because I clean there cage completely out every other day unless it gets extra dirty then I will clean it everyday.

Well where we live I would keep them inside. But if I lived out in the country I would probably put them outside. :mrgreen

I would keep them inside if I had any..which I want one but Dh is a meanie :lol. I would probably put them outside for a bit during the day when I was outside or the other animals were.

one more question...do you think 90-100 degrees is too hot for them (that is what it will be come summer..sometimes over 100). They seemed pretty hot the other day here when it was 95 outside...it was only 80 in here, but they acted hot...I ended up turning the a/c on.

I know rabbits and guinea pigs are a lil different but we were told not to put Mally outside because of mites and the chance of her getting worms. If I were you I'd keep them inside, maybe have your hubby build them a big olde cage if they get too crowded in the one you have.

Rabbits are very sensitive to heat, so yes I think that may be too hot. I had 6 rabbits growing up and I kept 5 outside and one inside. Rabbits are very social and you really will not see their personality if they are just left in their cage all day. You sound like a great bunny owner!

Knowing it gets that hot in the summer, I'd keep them inside. I would let them run around inside for a bit everyday to get exercise, but keep an eye on them. My brother's bunny would chew on nintendo cords and everything else he could.

Yeah we let them run around in here a couple times a day...they are hilarious! They always head straight for cords!! We keep a close eye on them for sure!!

Why not both. Have a cage inside and one outside.

No actual names yet....none of us can seem to agree. I pretty much call them ladies...when ever I go up to the cage I say "hello ladies" and they come hopping over :giggle
