I just got this call from balboa regarding my MRI I am supposed to have every year ( I dont think I told anyone about it, but its not a big deal) So anyway, before you get an MRI done, they have you take a pregnancy test. So Monday I went to get the test done and they said they would call if it had any conflicting results. Well I am on birth control and so I wasnt worried about it, but I just got a voicemail from one of the docs I am supposed to see tomorrow and they said that the pregnancy test came back inconclusive and that I would need to retest and reschedule the MRI. Well I am fucked! Our insurance runs out on sunday and I dont have time to retest and reschedule! Thats why I was supposed to go tomorrow!! GRRRR I am pissed!

Oh no, I would call them and tell them to put in the orders for another pg test today. I wouldn't take no for an answer. Obiously you need this MRI and they need to do everything they can to make that happen.

Yeah I tried to call back but just got the voicemail. I left a message explaining the situation though and that it was very urgent. I hope to get a call back ASAP! If not then I think I am just going to get a home PG test and take it with me to prove that I AM NOT pregnant! or at least I better not be!!!

You should be able to sign a waiver stating you aren't pregnant and if you end up being pregnant and any harm comes from the MRI you won't sue them.

I hate that every time I call balboa you get a voicemail and then wait till they call back . I hope you get a hold of them soon and like everyone else said go down there in person.

Well, I went. It was a fight, but they finally allowed me to do it. I told them that I KNEW for a fact that I AM NOT pregnant and I explained our insurance situation. It took him like an hour just to talk to whoever and finally let me do it lol. What a relief! I get the results back in like 15 days I think they said.
