Hello, another korea question

My husband got orders to go next march.. I might be able to go but it will change the orders from 1yr to 2yrs.

Also, he would be working hour and a half away.. So i'm unsure if it would be worth going over there and adjusting just to be maybe be miserable if I only get to see him on the weekends and along with the culture shock.

I think its Seoul. Just wanted your opinions on this and maybe some of you girls have been there?

I know some of the girls have been there...I know if my husband got orders for a year in korea, he'd go and we'd stay behind rather than extend an additional year. Good luck deciding!

I would stay, let him do his thing. I don't think I would want to live in Korea with him working so much and so far away.

Hey hun. My DH is in Seoul he's stationed at Yongsan unaccompanied. He's there from Jan 07 until Jan 08. I just visited him the first week in april for a week and i loved it. SO much that we talked to his commander about getting command sponsership but once we realised he would have to extend we just decided to wait out the year and move to a brand new station together as a family. but on the upside me and dd are going in september for a month so that he can save up his leave days and were using his sargeants home because his sargeants going on leave so it works out great. :cp We would have lived in Hannam Village which is only a few minutes from base but hubby works crazy hours as well and were already almost to the halfway point so we know we can make it. Do you have any questions specifically you would like to ask. I learned alot online as well as being there in person and i also have a lot of info concerning us going again in september? So just let me know reply back here or pm me
